We've started this page for my uncle Dave, until his family feel ready to look after it themselves, Dave was the younger brother of Margret Sparkes and my mum who most of you will know Mary Emmerson he was the only son of Margret and David Lawson Sr, he leaves behind May his loving wife, and his loving children, David, Christine and Janet and his Grandchildren, Nigel David, James, Kate and Kris, as well as his daughter inlaw Danuta, and son in law Micheal. We will add more to this as soon as possible but it's a very hard time for his family at the minute thank you for pasiing by his page love Susan xxxxxxx

Turning Back Time
Where would you go if we could turn back time?
And, just where, in life, would you stop?
Would you relive some moment that's special to you,
Perhaps say something you had forgot?
For me, if I could I'd be surrounded by family
And tell them how I love them so,
I would say all the things that I could have once said;
But was too late when their time came to go.
Oh, yes, I think of the opportunities I've had
To express understanding and compassion.
How sad that those words just never came out,
The one's I could not seem to fashion.
But, is it really too late to say all the things,
That we failed to imply at the time?
Words that were left hanging on the tips of our tongue,
Can now be relayed through our mind.
Repeat, to yourself, all the words that you kept
And transfer them to those whom you wish.
You won't see them, like you could back in time,
But will be heard by those whom you miss.

An Eternal Bond

There is a bond that you can't see

For My Guardian Angel
The snow has almost gone
Spring a few months away
Things that are most precious
They just don't seem to stay
Skates and ski's will be hung
In their place for another year
Boots, hats and mittens
Snow angels that I hold dear
People planting their flowers
The grass will again be green
The sun we shall see more often
Not hiding behind a screen
When I think of seasons in heaven
I know there could be only one
It must be filled with peace and love
And it's the angels that make the sun
Flowers are getting ready to bloom
Lily's, violets, and tulips too

I know where the garden of longing is
I've been there many a time

We share some childhood memories

My life has changed so much
Without you here to share with me
Or feel your gentle touch

Heaven's Gate
Perhaps the greatest of all miracles of healing
is when we reach our eternal destination ...
where the only tears are of those left behind.
May we embrace and comfort each other in our time of loss.
But, may our lasting memory be a Spiritual celebration -
envisioning our loved one, walking through Heaven's gate.
Were they able to speak today,
I suspect our loved one would say,
"In deepest sympathy ... to those on the other side."
